Reception Teacher
Location: Shirehampton
Contract: Full Time
A primary school in the BS11 area is seeking an experienced and committed Reception Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Early Years pupils and delivering high‑quality teaching in line with the EYFS framework.

Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching within Early Years, specifically Reception
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN or EAL is advantageous
* Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
* Plan and deliver effective lessons that meet EYFS standards
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Establish and maintain clear routines and positive behaviour management
* Differentiate activities to meet individual learning needs
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals
* Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
