The Opportunity
4 on 4 off 6pm - 6am
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll play a key part in keeping production running efficiently, safely and to the highest standards. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead a team of Engineers, ensuring effective planned maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns and continuous improvement across engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of Engineers, ensuring effective line support to meet production and customer service targets
* Plan, schedule and control labour, materials and spares within agreed budgets
* Drive effective planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and first-time fixes
* Ensure smooth operation of plant and equipment, minimising downtime
* Communicate clearly across shifts to ensure continuity and performance
* Motivate, coach and develop your team, managing performance and conduct where required
The Ideal Candidate

* Minimum HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Time-served Electrical Engineer background
* At least 5 years’ experience in an FMCG environment
* Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams
* Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills
