The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer with circa 3 years' experience to join a growing technical team.
This role will suit someone confident in both site-based supervision and office-based interpretation, looking to take ownership of projects and build stronger client-facing responsibility.
You will be involved in managing and interpreting ground investigations, producing technical reports and supporting foundation and earthworks recommendations across a varied project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning, supervising and managing ground investigations
* Logging soils and rock to current UK standards
* Producing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
* Undertaking geotechnical assessments and foundation recommendations
* Liaising with clients, contractors and regulators
* Managing elements of project delivery, including budgets and timelines
* Supporting junior engineers and contributing to team development
Candidate Requirements
* Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or related discipline
* Minimum 3 years' consultancy experience
* Strong understanding of UK ground investigation practice and reporting standards xsngvjr
* Experience interpreting geotechnical data and making design recommendations
* Confident communicator with client-facing experience
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Working toward (or keen to work toward) professional chartership
