To provide clinical advise to the Trust Commanders during a serious or major incident

to provide clinical advice to our Advance Paramedics in Critical Care as and when clinically required

To be available throughout your period of on call to take telephone calls, as needed, and respond to a Command location if required during a serious or major incident

At EEAST we bring together all our skills to provide 24 hour, 365 days a year urgent care to those in need of emergency and non-emergency medical treatment and transport in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

We would like to hear from you if your host organisation will support your application, and you: -

* Are a registered medical practitioner with a minimum of one years' experience at consultant grade or equivalent.
* Have pre- hospital care experience through Pre Hospital Emergency Medicine training or responding as part of a BASICS Immediate Care scheme.
* Have experience of proactive engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
* Are experienced in and comfortable providing strategic level advice in a highly pressurised environment.
* Are an outstanding communicator and problem solver who understands the importance of emotional intelligence.
* Understand the pre-hospital emergency medical environment, mass casualty management and the NHS ambulance services' core standards for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR).
* Are available within the East of England region, contactable and can mobilise to an command cell when on-call.
* Are willing and able to undertake specific training associated with the multi-agency response to a major incident.
* Can empathise with the EEAST values of quality, teamwork, respect, care, and honesty.
