Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and inclusive Art lessons tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
* Foster a positive and creative classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore and develop their artistic skills.
* Use a range of materials, techniques, and projects to inspire students and promote self-expression.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
* Support students’ emotional and social development through creative learning opportunities.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support for students.
* Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Art, preferably in an alternative provision or with students who have faced barriers to education.
* A creative and flexible approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
* A strong understanding of SEN and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and compassionate approach.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
