Overview
University of Nottingham Sport is looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Strength and Conditioning Coach to support the delivery of strength and conditioning services to University of Nottingham sports teams.
In this role, you will collaborate with other members of the strength and conditioning team, coaches, and external partners to enhance the student sporting experience.
Responsibilities
* Deliver strength and conditioning sessions to University of Nottingham student athletes.
* Support the running of the strength and conditioning facility with leading drop-in sessions, and maintain the facility and equipment.
* Support the delivery to para-sport student athletes and contribute to the department knowledge base of para-S&C.
* Contribute to strategic projects that enhance student experience and athlete performance at the University of Nottingham.
* Work in a part-time (0.6 FTE), fixed-term capacity; some evening and weekend work may be required to meet performance sport program needs. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.

Qualifications / What we are looking for
* You have experience working with student athletes, with an understanding of the demands placed upon student athletes.
* You are excited to learn about para-sport and can create an environment for para-sport student athletes to thrive within.
* You have some experience working with sports coaches, physiotherapists and other members of the support services, or other sporting organisations.
* You have a collaborative and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
