Research Manager – Quantitative Consumer

If you enjoy owning research projects from brief to delivery, managing client relationships, and working on a mix of political, social, and commercial insight work, this could be a great fit.
You’ll be joining a fast-growing, tech-enabled research business with a strong reputation in the market. They work with everything from global brands to civil society organisations, delivering high-quality, actionable insights — often on complex, multi-market briefs.
The Role
You’ll sit within the Data Services team, which manages some of the company’s largest commercial accounts as well as not-for-profit clients. It’s a varied position where you’ll:
* Own and deliver quantitative research projects end-to-end
* Act as the main client contact — from scoping through to presenting insights
* Manage and grow accounts by spotting opportunities for future work
* Design surveys, manage fieldwork, and deliver outputs (data tables, cross-breaks, reports)
* Collaborate with analytics and consulting teams on large-scale projects
* Coach and mentor junior researchers
Projects could include brand tracking, ad testing, segmentation, brand lift studies, and political research for advocacy groups and think tanks.
Your Background
* 3–5 years’ experience in quantitative market research
* Confident running multiple projects independently
* Skilled in survey design, data cleaning, and producing cross-tabs/data tables
* Strong Excel skills; DisplayR experience a plus
* Track record delivering brand tracking, segmentation, or comms testing projects
* Commercially minded — comfortable with RFPs and building client relationships
* Experience mentoring or supporting junior researchers
