Overview
Job title: General Manager at Avery Healthcare. Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional person-centred care in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment. Requires a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care setting and strong leadership/management skills.
Job responsibilities
* Responsible for the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and ensuring residents receive care based on best practice while meeting regulatory requirements and business performance targets.
* Recruit, retain, and develop staff within the Home and provide ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the team.
* Act as a focal point for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in residents wellbeing.
* Ensure safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in line with occupancy and dependency.
* Manage costs within budgetary controls by regularly reviewing and monitoring stock.
About you
To be successful, you will:
* Have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.
* Hold Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
* Possess excellent leadership and management skills.
* Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT.
* Be flexible and adaptable to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
