Responsibilities
:
1. Carry out Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments in line with current legislation and guidance
2. Inspect common areas within low-rise social housing properties
3. Identify fire hazards, assess risks, and recommend appropriate control measures
4. Produce clear, compliant, and concise fire risk assessment reports
5. Manage workload effectively across multiple sites within Sheffield
6. Liaise with internal stakeholders where required
Working Arrangements:
7. Site visits across Sheffield
8. Flexibility to complete reports either from home or from the office
Requirements:
9. Minimum of 2 years' experience carrying out fire risk assessments within a social housing environment
10. Demonstrable experience completing Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments (common areas only)
11. Recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification
12. Registered on a recognised Fire Risk Assessor register (minimum Intermediate level; Advanced preferred)
13. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
