Our client is looking for a Paint Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:
* Accurately and skillfully undertake panel repair/replacement and preparation and repainting of motor vehicles.
* Fulfill all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
* Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry standards.
* Carry out repairs according to best practice procedures, using manufacturer data and technical instructions.
* Meet safety and quality standards.
* Use all paint mixing schemes and drying equipment accurately for all repairs.
Customer Service:
* Complete assigned jobs within estimated repair/paint times.
* Safeguard the customer’s vehicle and contents while in the workshop.
* Ensure vehicles comply with safety standards upon return to customers.
Fault Detection and Reporting:
* Observe, recognize, and report on vehicle paintwork.
* Report faults or defects detected during work on the vehicle.
* Report any additional damage to the Estimator.
Safety and Standards:
* Report accurately all components, materials, and hours used, minimizing wastage.
* Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area, including sweeping and cleaning the oven.
* Adhere to health, safety, environmental, recycling policies, and internal procedures.
* Maintain tools and equipment according to company policy.
* Undertake additional tasks as requested by the Bodyshop Manager.
Compensation and Schedule:
Salary up to £50,000 per annum.
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, with Saturdays when required.
20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
