Territory Sales Manager – Advanced Repair and Reconstruction, North East

Join BD as a Territory Sales Manager covering the North East region. An exciting opportunity within the Hernia repair team to expand the existing customer base and introduce new opportunities.


Job Description

As a Sales Territory Manager, you will maintain and develop sales within the territory to become the leading supplier of Advanced Repair & Reconstruction solutions.


Main Responsibilities

* Execution of sales strategy in line with business unit objectives
* Execution of all sales activity: pain identification, solution provision, product positioning, trials, contract negotiations, opportunity closure, and demand generation
* Representation at appropriate congresses and events at national & international level
* Providing field support & education to physicians & other clinical professionals
* Supporting local and EU Marketing Manager training/coaching activities
* Analysis of market trends and activity to enable penetration and market growth
* Driving KOL engagement to enhance developments in surgical procedures and patient outcomes
* CRM compliance to reflect territory management
* Tender & contract management


About You

* Medical sales experience, ideally within general theatre (not essential)
* Degree or Diploma within clinical field preferred
* Valid driver’s licence
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Detailed understanding of needs, analysis, and solution selling
* Understanding of contract administration
* Self‑starter, entrepreneurial attitude, agile and creative thinking


Salary

£45,000 – £60,000 + bonus + benefits


Workplace & Flexibility

We prioritize on‑site collaboration to foster creativity and innovation. Most roles require a minimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week. Remote or field‑based positions will have different workplace arrangements indicating in the job posting.
