You will complete a 12 month placement within the Raw Board Production department, providing departmental administrative tasks and operational support with a focus on process development and quality.

What you'll be doing
1. Undertake specific projects as allocated by the Process Engineer and Plant Director, making improvement recommendations where appropriate. This may also involve assisting other departments.
2. Perform all allocated tasks for the department in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Liaise with internal / external parties when required.
4. Operate in an efficient and safe manner and also in compliance with any specified risk assessments / method statements.
5. Assist / support with production work as required.
6. Maintain / create reports, technical specifications, statistics and other written documents.
7. Complete and prepare technical and quality reports.
What we need from you
8. Must have successfully completed two years of an appropriate engineering degree course (you are currently an undergraduate!) such as mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering.
9. Competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
10. Must be well organised, efficient and have good communication skills.
11. Understanding of statistical analysis / tools.
12. Attention to detail and accuracy are important.
