Commis chef
The Adamson hotel in Crossford on the outskirts of Dunfermline is a recently refurbished 40 bedroom hotel with a friendly team that are looking to recruit a Commis chef for its busy kitchen.
The role of commis chef will involve working within the kitchen team in all aspects of food production and service. Full and ongoing training will be given for this role. This will develop your skills and experience as a chef, ready to take the next step with the potential of future progression. This role also gives you a fantastic opportunity to work with fresh, local ingredients and create dishes from scratch.
· Experience as a Commis Chef or Junior Commis Chef for a minimum of 1 year
· Ability to work with the kitchen team.
· Experience working in a fast paced environment working with fresh food
· Ambition to progress your career and to strive for the best standards possible
Previous experience working in a similar environment preferred
Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
Pro-active and reliable
Able to work alone and within a team
Good level of English essential
