We are partnering with one of the region’s leading independent accountancy and business advisory firms to recruit an Audit Assistant Manager. This is a client-facing, senior audit role for a qualified accountant looking to lead audits, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic, supportive team.
You will be joining a highly regarded practice with over 200 talented professionals, delivering tailored financial guidance and growth strategies to a wide range of clients across multiple sectors.
As Audit Assistant Manager, you will:
Lead on-site audits from planning to completion, coordinating resources, delegating tasks, and managing timescales
Ensure audit assignments comply with company practice and auditing standards
Review and support the work of junior staff, providing mentoring and constructive feedback
Prepare audit findings reports, highlighting key issues and submitting for review
Build and maintain strong client relationships, adapting communication to meet client needs
Collaborate with other teams across the firm to ensure a seamless client experience
Identify cross-team opportunities, potential risks, and areas for process improvement
About You
ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent
Proven audit and accounts experience within practice
Solid understanding of audit quality and regulatory standards
Skilled in risk assessment and implementing effective control measures
Strong client management and communication skills
Experience in mentoring and leading junior staff
Up-to-date knowledge of FRS, IFRS, and auditing standards
