We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Civil Site Supervisor.
As a Site Civil Supervisor, you’ll oversee the safe and efficient delivery of civil works across our water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Working closely with Site and Construction Managers, you’ll manage direct labour and subcontractors on site, ensuring all activities meet safety, quality, and environmental standards. You’ll play a key role in planning, supervising, and driving progress, while promoting best practice and fostering a proactive safety culture.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of site operatives and subcontractors
2. Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks, and pre-start briefings to embed a strong safety culture
3. Monitor temporary works, plant checks, permits, and ensure all works are delivered safely and compliantly
4. Lead by example on site, actively promoting near-miss reporting and good housekeeping standards
5. Drive quality by ensuring inspection and test plans are followed and works are “right first time”
6. Track and report daily progress, resolving any issues that could affect delivery or budget
7. Order, coordinate, and manage construction plant and materials efficiently
8. Support and mentor site teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth
9. Build strong relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, customers, and the public, maintaining respect and professionalism at all times
