This is an exciting opportunity for a geotechnical engineer to join a long established Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Ground Investigation consultancy that operates throughout the United Kingdom. They pride themselves on providing cost effective ground investigations with practical solutions for a very wide range of projects.
The company assists with all ground related aspects from Phase 1 desk studies, practical foundation advice, Contaminated land assessments, sustainable drainage solutions, soil parameters for basement and infrastructure design along with economic and environmentally sustainable remediation solutions.
We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the very busy Milton Keynes based team, project managing ground investigation projects, field work and supervision of site contractors, writing the associated reports and providing cost effective solutions.
To be considered:
· A BSc in Geology, or related subject
· A full UK driving licence
You will need experience in ground investigation consultancy, rock logging, fieldworks and sitework supervision providing recommendations covering foundation design, ground improvements, earthworks, basements, retaining walls, mining, dissolution, and slope stability assessments.
