An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated EYFS SEND Teacher to join a highly supportive specialist setting in Telford. This maternity cover role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the early development of children aged 0–5 with a range of additional needs, including learning difficulties, developmental delay, and autism.

This specialist setting provides a nurturing and structured environment for pupils with EHCPs. With a strong focus on early development, the school delivers a flexible, engaging curriculum tailored to children with sensory needs, social communication challenges, and autism. Backed by a skilled multidisciplinary team and excellent resources, the school is committed to building each child’s independence, confidence, and foundational learning skills.

The Role
As an EYFS SEND Teacher, you will deliver personalised, play-based learning experiences that support every child’s individual development. Working closely with a collaborative team, you will help create a positive and inclusive environment where children can thrive at their own pace.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver tailored EYFS programmes in a calm, engaging, and supportive way
* Work collaboratively with support staff to create effective learning environments
* Encourage early communication, sensory exploration, and independence
* Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet a diverse range of needs
* Build strong, trusting relationships that support pupil confidence and progress

About You:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience within EYFS and/or supporting pupils with SEND
* A patient, creative, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Resilient, compassionate, and committed to early years development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
