Coventry Building Society have an exciting new role for a Release Train Engineer, to work across our Data Portfolio. Following the Co-operative Bank officially becoming part of our Group, we need to ensure successful integration of the two organisations. This role is pivotal in making this happen. You’ll orchestrate delivery of multiple change initiatives, be working with a mixture of both dedicated and shared resources across technology and the business; and help coach teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) to deliver significant business outcomes in a dynamic environment that embraces new ways of working and continuous improvement. This also extends to working with more traditional programmatic portfolios to deliver joint outcomes. The Release Train Engineer will also participate in the Lean-Agile transformation, coaching leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in the new processes and mindsets. Managing and optimising the flow of value using various tools, agile management practices and DevOps ways of working. Additionally, the Release Train Engineer will manage effective Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies and practices, such as PI Planning, and Syncs, ensuring they deliver expected outcomes that drive relentless improvement.
