We are looking for a Risk Assurance Advisor who will provide proactive and trusted support to our Council teams, known for their critical thinking and ability to deliver you will be an integral part of our Risk team.
You will be part of a team working to drive excellent risk management practices, providing independent assurance over Council activities and key risk areas, and ensuring quality management practices are followed.

To be successful in this role you will have:
* An understanding of best practice enterprise risk management and methodology
* Experience working alongside a range of internal teams which areundertaking a variety of functions and projects
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong analytical skills, with an ability to understand impacts on the wider organisation
* A positive and innovative approach to solving problems
