We have a fantastic opportunity for an Healthcare Support Worker to join the team on a bank basis at HMP Garth, a Category B male prison located near Preston. HMP Garth has capacity of around 840, and holds inmates serving sentences of 4 years or more.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team, and work in a varied environment, where you will gain experience across primary care, including emergency response, working on the wings, clinics, health promotion, and more! No 2 days are the same in this challenging, yet rewarding and supportive environment. Please note that this is a clinical role, and we need candidates that are competent in skills such as Venepuncture, ECGs, NEWS2 etc. Hours: This is a bank role offering flexible hours to cover additional need such as sickness and annual leave Salary: This position is offered on a bank basis and the hourly rate is £15.25 How will we support you?
