With several new projects commencing in the West of Scotland, we are looking to expand our team and are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join us.
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of these projects. In this role, you will ensure financial efficiency, compliance, and profitability while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Oversee cost management, including preparing and maintaining applications for payment and final accounts.
Review and analyse contract documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
Procure and manage subcontractors, handling negotiations, on-site management, and final accounts.
Provide commercial and contractual support to Directors, Contracts Managers, and Project Managers.
Identify and prepare claims to secure contractual entitlements.
Participate in construction programme development and manage commercial correspondence.
Ensure compliance with the company’s SHEQ Management Manual and quality procedures.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Good understanding of construction contracts (e.g., Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in financial forecasting and cost control.
