We are seeking a skilled a kitchen assistant to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and hospitality. As kitchen assistant, you will play a vital role in helping topreparing delicious grilled dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
* Supervise kitchen staff during food preparation and cooking processes, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
* Assist in the development of new menu items, contributing creative ideas for grilled dishes.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary.
* Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Requirements.
* Knowledge of food safety practices l.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
