Role: Finance Business Analyst
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000
Contract Length: 24 months Fixed Term Contract
Hybrid working: 2 days on site, London
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a dynamic project management and transformation team within the Finance PMO. The role will support global finance systems and process initiatives, ensuring effective delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
* Work with finance data, ensuring completeness, validation, and accurate mapping across systems.
* Facilitate workshops with subject matter experts and project managers to prioritise requirements and document outputs.
* Partner with delivery teams to design finance process flows, system environments, and user interface requirements.
* Support business case development, feasibility analysis, and project scoping.
* Define and track user acceptance testing criteria, ensuring successful execution.
* Contribute to process re-engineering, system customisations, and software upgrades.
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system design.
* Collaborate with business owners to resolve data flow issues and strengthen process integrity.
Essential skills and experience needed:
* Proven experience in financial environments delivering complex analysis, process mapping, and problem solving.
* Strong knowledge of finance business processes (R2R, P2P and O2C) and systems, with expertise in business analysis and risk identification.
* Competence in mapping processes from Level 1 to Level 4 and validating with stakeholders.
* Experience in workflow analysis, process modelling, and transactional data interpretation.
* Ability to provide analytics for business case development and track data flows in complex systems.
* Awareness of change management practices, including training and communication support.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines
