Source Solutions are proud to be working with a leading organisation and platinum accredited investor in people, within electrical infrastructure, a pioneer within reduced carbon solutions and innovator within net zero strategy on a large scale, to identify an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, to play a part in the design for build of key infrastructure across the South.
Responsibilities
Working across a vast programme of capital works (spanning 11kv/33kv - 132kv) that will contribute towards the country's push towards carbon reduction and net zero, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing and assuring high quality electrical designs, ensuring these meet cost, time and quality targets.
The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for producing and assuring high quality electrical designs to an agreed scope as part of a multi-disciplinary team, assisting more junior design team members and, where necessary, coordinating with other design disciplines (protecton, cables, civils etc).
Candidate Profile
* Education in Electrical Engineering or other relevant subject
* Knowledge of distribution systems at 33kv and 11kv (132kv desirable also although training can be offered)
* Extensive Knowledge of design processes and standards
