An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ultrasound department at the Tunbridge Wells hospital,( Pembury site) the unit has five scan rooms in the main department, one in Triage and one in the early pregnancy unit. We are looking for 2 obstetric and gynaecological ultra sonographers, who are passionate about women's healthcare and are highly motivated. As a specialised women’s health unit, the work includes gynae, obstetrics, cancer pathways and a dedicated early pregnancy unit. We work closely with our consultant leads including scanning with our fetal medicine consultant. You will have the opportunity to develop your organisational and clinical skills within this post. There is an opportunity for career progression and support for those newly qualified. We are actively involved in CPD, clinical governance and audit. Tunbridge wells hospital is a PFI built in 2009, it offers subsidised parking, restaurant and has a nursery on the Maidstone site with free bus travel between sites. There is a separate, dedicated emergency department where both early pregnancy and emergency gynae scans are performed.
