We're looking for an enthusiastic Accommodation Advisor to support residents living in key worker accommodation in Birmingham. In this rewarding, people-focused role, you'll be the first point of contact for tenants — helping with bookings, move-ins, maintenance coordination, and ensuring everyone enjoys a safe and comfortable home. You'll work closely with the Marketing and Lettings Officer to maximise occupancy and keep our accommodation running smoothly. If you're organised, friendly, and love helping others, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. What You'll Be Doing Be the go-to contact for tenant enquiries via phone, email, and reception. Provide advice on accommodation options and support residents through the booking and move-in process. Coordinate maintenance requests and property inspections to keep accommodation safe and compliant. Support move-in/move-out procedures, including deposit handling and right-to-rent checks. Work with the Marketing and Lettings Officer to promote vacancies and maintain full occupancy. Keep accurate housing and booking records, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Liaise with NHS Trusts, universities, and other partners to support key worker housing needs. Gather feedback and help improve resident satisfaction. What We're Looking For Essential: Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. Confident using housing management systems and Microsoft Office. A problem-solver with a proactive, positive attitude. Desirable: Experience in accommodation, property, or hospitality management. Knowledge of tenancy agreements, housing regulations, or compliance. Experience handling financial transactions (deposits, rent payments, invoicing).
