This vacancy is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Nurse to join the Pregnancy Advisory Outreach Nursing team.
The team works with all under 18 year olds, and vulnerable 18-25 year olds within BNSSG who are pregnant or who have recently been pregnant to support these young people and vulnerable adults (and their partners +/- parents and carers) in their choice regarding pregnancy outcome and in the selection and provision of contraceptive methods to prevent further unplanned pregnancies.
The role involves following these patients up for a period of time post-pregnancy to optimise health outcomes.
The post-holder will also be responsible for the development, organisation and delivery of strategies and interventions within multi-agency networks, to increase young people and vulnerable young adults' access to and uptake of sexual health services.
The likely shift pattern is: x2 shifts per week on Tuesday and either Wednesday or Friday (to be determined).
The shift timings are likely to fall between 8-6pm (variable), and flexibility on start and finish times is essential.
