About the role As our community of small businesses continues to grow, we’re seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Community & Marketing Assistant to help us deliver a great experience for our users and support with key projects. We are a small, dynamic team, so no two days are alike, but typical activities could include: Managing our customer service channels to support and engage with our community Supporting the set-up, promotion, and execution of virtual and in-person events Quality control: monitoring feedback from users and events; following up on any issues Creating & scheduling social media content Completing administrative tasks to support the running of the day-to-day community Developing ideas for how we can grow and engage our community Developing case studies, marketing materials and presentations as needed Measuring the impact of marketing activities Opportunity to manage additional projects, such as user re-engagement, exploring chatbots, research projects, and writing blog posts About you We’re looking for someone who is excited about our work and is willing to get stuck in and make the role their own. Whilst not essential, the ideal candidate will also have some customer-facing experience. Here are some characteristics you'll likely have: You have an interest in customer experience and community management You love building relationships and collaborating with others You have an interest in marketing and social media You like learning and have a natural curiosity outside of your set role You have good attention to detail and a track record of meeting deadlines You’re a self-starter and see problems as a challenge, not a blocker You want to make a real impact and difference, and care about our cause This is a fixed contract role, with the possibility of extension or transitioning to a full-time role. It can be offered on a part-time or full-time role, depending on the candidate, with flexible hours available. We’re a remote-working team, but get together in-person occasionally for team meetings and have shared working spaces available if desired. If you’re enthusiastic, organised, and like to work hard to deliver impact, and want to join a team that’s really making a difference to the world, then we’d love you to apply.
