Job Description:
Technical Manager is accountable for wholistic factory assets management to ensure all machine & equipment are in good condition & reliability to serve business priorities & purposes.
This role is also managingtechnicalteam’s associates to haveappropriate knowledge, skills & capability to effectively perform all asset management activities together with strong awareness & mindset adhere to all Safety and Quality policies in the factory with solid succession pipeline for future.
What are we looking for?
1. You will have in depth experience in Technical or Production area within FMCG.
2. You willdemonstrateexcellencein people leadership and project management, preferable in an engineering/supply environment
3. You will have strong line management experience andtrack recordof performance and people development.
4. You will have experience/knowledge of broader supply functions like Q&FS, IE, HSE, Manufacturing
5. You will have budget management experience of >£1m
6. TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) type experience with emphasis on PM (Progress Maintenance) and EM (Early Management) pillar leadership
7. You will be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
What will be your key responsibilities?
8. Provide strategic and technical leadership to the Maintenance and Engineering teams.
9. Provide innovative solutions resulting in sustained technical competitive advantage.
10. The development and delivery of multi-year maintenance and engineering strategy to execute deliver critical KPI’s for Supply Chain/Operations.
11. Leading andfacilitatingthe Progressive Maintenance Pillar.
12. Management of all utilities, maintenance, & engineering at site
13. Technical asset management from early equipment management, project management (.design, installation, vertical start-up), optimization,maintenanceand retirement.
14. The delivery of new product initiatives at the site to meet business needs.
15. Ensure compliance with Mars standards related to technical job function of site
16. Manage Maintenance costs to ensure the budgeting process isaccurateand the department meets the business requirements.
17. Deliver sites engineering projects to scope, timing, and costs.
18. Develop and sustain maintenance predictive technology strategies to provide a proactive maintenance culture.
19. Maintenance and Engineering team engagement and associate development.
