About Our Client
The organisation is a large PLC looking for a skilled internal auditor to support with covering a large scope of work following a restructure within the organisation. This role will be on an initial 6-month basis with the opportunity to go permanent
Job Description
3. Conduct internal audits to evaluate financial and operational processes.
4. Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements to internal controls.
5. Prepare detailed audit reports for management review.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
7. Collaborate with various departments to implement recommendations effectively.
8. Support the preparation of documentation for external audits.
9. Monitor and report on the progress of corrective actions.
10. Provide advice on best practices in accounting and finance processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Internal Auditor should have:
11. A professional qualification in accounting or auditing (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
12. Proven experience in internal auditing, preferably with experience within a FTSE 100 environment
13. Proficiency in auditing software and financial systems.
14. An understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
16. The ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
