We are seeking a well-established and experienced Year 6 Teaching Assistant to support the whole class and work closely with the class teacher in preparing pupils for SATs and transition to Secondary School.
This role will involve delivering targeted interventions for pupils approaching SATs, as well as providing general classroom support. You will be working alongside an experienced Year 6 teacher in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Role Details:
* Start Date: 1st September 2026
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:40am – 3:30pm
* Pay Rate: From £14.25 per hour
* Contract: Full-time, permanent
Requirements:
* Previous experience working within a primary school setting, ideally in Upper Key Stage 2
* Confidence supporting pupils in preparation for SATs
* A relevant childcare qualification or Teaching Assistant Level 2 (or equivalent)
