Fosterli – Fostering Innovation - Bristol, Bath or London (hybrid).


Fosterli is a technology platform designed specifically for the UK fostering sector. Our mission is simple: to modernise how foster carers are recruited and assessed, helping fostering agencies work more efficiently while improving the experience for families who come forward to foster. Fostering agencies currently rely on a mix of outdated systems, manual processes and fragmented tools. Fosterli brings this together into one platform designed around how fostering actually works.

We are an early stage company backed by Europe's leading tech-for-good investors and are working with fostering agencies to pilot and refine the platform. As we move into our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Commercial Partnerships Lead to help build relationships across the sector and introduce Fosterli to more agencies. You will be joining us at a pivotal stage, with plenty of scope and opportunity to shape how the company grows across the fostering sector.


The Role

This role sits at the centre of Fosterli’s growth. You will build relationships with fostering agencies, sector organisations and key decision makers who are looking for better ways to manage recruitment and assessments.

This is not a high-volume sales role. The fostering sector works through trust, relationships and reputation, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable building those relationships over time.

You will work closely with the founder to shape how Fosterli grows across the sector.


Responsibilities

* Lead the planning, execution and evaluation of Fosterli’s commercial strategy
* Work with founders, mentors and existing sector relationships to identify opportunities and progress conversations with potential customers
* Build relationships with senior leaders within Independent Fostering Agencies and organisations across the sector
* Lead discovery conversations, product demonstrations and pilot discussions with agencies
* Strengthen Fosterli’s sales pipeline, messaging and supporting sales materials
* Analyse commercial and marketing data to improve the effectiveness of our sales approach
* Represent Fosterli at sector events and meetings
* Feed sector insight back into product development and commercial strategy


What We’re Looking For

We recognise that strong candidates for this role may come from a variety of backgrounds. You may have worked within fostering or children’s social care, or you may come from a commercial or partnerships role working with organisations in related sectors. Although sector experience is flexible, this is a senior role, so sufficient experience in that sector is expected.


We’re particularly interested in people who enjoy building trusted long term relationships and can confidently engage with senior leaders across organisations. We are looking for someone who is resilient, can self-evaluate their own performance and use their initiative to find solutions, but is also a team player who can lead and inspire Fosterli's growth.


Your background may include:

* Experience working within fostering, children’s social care or aligned sectors
* Commercial, B2B sales, partnerships or business development experience within social care, care technology, health, education or charity organisations
* Experience introducing services or software to organisations that deliver care or support services


Existing relationships within the fostering sector would be valuable, but they are not essential.

What matters most is an interest in improving how fostering services work and the ability to build strong, trusted relationships across the sector.

We are a small team and are looking for someone who enjoys working in an early-stage environment where roles evolve as the company grows.


Salary

Up to £50,000 depending on experience, up to £10,000 performance based bonus.

The bonus is linked to successful pilot partnerships and agency conversions.


Bristol, Bath or London (Hybrid)

This role combines remote working with in-person collaboration. We expect regular face-to-face meetings with the team alongside flexible remote working.

Some travel will also be required to meet with fostering agencies and attend sector events across the UK with sufficient notice.
