JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create SOPs for Food Safety Management in accordance with ISO 22000
* Closely liaise with support departments and implement SOPs by mentoring, training, and evaluating colleagues
* Lead internal and coordinate external audits to ensure high scores
* Establish audit requirements to ensure ISO 22000 compliance
* Lead risk assessment, gap analysis, and risk management
* Own the Hygiene Operating Manual and related documentation
* Manage the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) programs
* Foster a positive food safety, health, and hygiene culture across units
* Identify and analyze hazards and risks using ISO 22000 and HACCP methodologies
* Serve as liaison and advisor with relevant departments and external parties
* Support HACCP accreditation efforts
* Understand stakeholder and risk management
* Develop corrective actions and ensure compliance with business units
* Develop training materials and record training activities per L&D standards
* Prepare documentation for ISO or HACCP quality audits
* Identify and report structural deficiencies related to food safety and hygiene
* Manage pest control systems
* Review and manage food complaints
* Lead preventive maintenance with facilities management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 10 years’ management experience in an international hotel chain or airline food catering at manager level
* Master’s degree in microbiology or related field
* Certifications or accreditation recognized in the UK
* Experience with ISO 22000 and HACCP implementation and management
* Pre-opening or new project management experience
* Bachelor’s degree in food science or food technology
* Strong understanding of HACCP from implementation to execution
* Excellent training, coaching, and online learning skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong analytical and data-driven mindset
* Ability to set clear directions, organize work effectively, and communicate well with colleagues
