What will you be doing
You will be the front line of outbound activity and the voice of Avantis for new and potential customers.
Avantis offer unique and cutting-edge hardware products to schools, globally. The focus of this role will be to generate opportunities and revenue for our flagship ClassVR product by:
* Engaging with schools through outbound calling from data provided, supporting our Marketing campaigns.
* Qualifying inbound leads and processing new incoming enquiries.
* Presenting and conducting online ClassVR demonstrations where required.
* Booking or arranging demonstrations for the external Business Development Managers and diary management / planning.
* Support BDMs with quotations, processing relevant paperwork and closing orders.
* Helping to onboard customers working with our customer success team.
Key responsibilities will include
* Making outbound sales calls to warm and cold leads via CRM Campaigns.
* Receiving enquiries from inbound calls.
* Qualifying all leads to ensure they match Avantis’ product offerings.
* Booking demos/visits into the sales teams’ diaries and achieving new subscription numbers where required.
* Updating the CRM system to ensure accurate information is recorded.
* Accurately forecast demo numbers per week/month.
* Prepare relevant sales information showing potential appointment volume and areas of proposed interest.
* Reach all KPI’s including call volume and demo booked numbers.
* Effectively manage diaries to maximise journey time.
* Compiling daily/weekly reports manually and via CRM in order to manage team and individual reports.
Essential skills and experience
Key attributes
* At least 12 months experience in a similar, telephone-based role, with emphasis on outbound calling
* Effective member of a team, able to work with people at all levels.
* Excellent sales skills with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent and persuasive verbal and written communication skills
* Good IT user skills – Microsoft Office suite important
* Ability to quickly become highly knowledgeable on Avantis’ solutions.
* Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate, present and influence at all levels with customers.
* Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure.
* Generating Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports
