An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our team in the ongoing development of our Community Treatment and Care Service within the North Locality including Hubs in Pitlochry, Aberfeldy and Blairgowrie and some in-reach to more rural GP Practices. Cover across the North Locality will be expected.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership to support the Senior Charge Nurse in the delivery of the evolving service within the North Locality and promote developments to meet the changing needs of the local population.
The post holder will contribute to the work of the Community Treatment and Care Services team in providing the highest quality of healthcare, in the running of a variety of clinics including management of wounds, phlebotomy, chronic disease monitoring, leg ulcer assessment and management, anticoagulation, phototherapy and minor injuries.
Working with a diverse caseload, you will work with the team along with other service professionals, to meet the needs of patients providing safe holistic, patient centred and evidence based care.
You will have extensive first level registration experience pertinent to the clinical area within this post. You should possess evidence of further education/CPD in relevant area, demonstrate leadership qualities and the ability to work independently and autonomously. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills be innovative and inventive utilising resources in a creative and forward-thinking way.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register
Hours of work are: 37 hours - This is currently Monday to Friday 0830-1630
