Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Technician to join the finance team on a full-time, on-site basis in Omagh.The successful candidate will support day-to-day financial operations across a range of construction and property-related projects, ensuring accurate financial processing, record keeping, and reporting.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, multi-sector business environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess supplier invoices and customer billing accurately and efficientlyMaintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounting systemsAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsReconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepanciesSupport the preparation of basic financial reports for management reviewLiaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve queriesEnsure all financial documentation is correctly recorded and filedMaintain both digital and physical financial records in line with company proceduresSupport the finance team with general administrative and ad hoc dutiesSkills & Experience RequiredStrong bookkeeping and accounting skills with the ability to maintain accurate recordsGood understanding of basic finance principles, including reconciliations and reportingExperience with invoicing, billing, and resolving payment discrepanciesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packagesStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work effectively on-site in a busy office environmentDesirableRelevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related disciplinePrevious experience within construction, property, or project-based environmentsFamiliarity with multi-sector or multi-entity businessesFor more information contact Katie at Haughey Recruitment : WHJS1_NI
