Overview
Our paediatric SEND team are looking for an occupational therapist to join the team on a bank basis.
This post requires the post-holder to visit schools across the Essex area, so it is essential that they can drive and have access to their own car.
Responsibilities
* Hold an appropriate occupational therapy degree and be HCPC/RCSLT registered.
* Be supported to work independently, as well as part of a team.
* Have experience of working with children with special educational needs.
* Provide training (in-person or virtually) to nursery and education staff and parents as required.
* Engage with the child and family; liaise with nursery and education staff; contribute to Educational Health and Care Plans.
* Drive to various locations across Essex.
