Associate / Senior Associate - Agriculture & Estates - Cardiff - 4-8 years PQE
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid & Flexible)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience)
A leading UK law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Agriculture & Estates team in Cardiff. This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow transactional work within a nationally recognised practice, supported by a collaborative team across contentious and non-contentious matters.
The Role
You'll advise on a broad range of agricultural and estates matters, including:
* Sales, purchases, and mortgages
* Estate management and agricultural tenancies
* Tax and succession planning
* Conservation and natural capital projects
* Biodiversity Net Gain agreements
You'll also:
* Develop and maintain specialist knowledge
* Collaborate across the wider team
* Engage in business development and referral opportunities
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified lawyer with:
* 4-8 years PQE
* Experience in agricultural law or broader property work
* Strong technical and drafting skills
* Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively
* Commercial acumen and attention to detail
* Ambition, organisation, and a proactive mindset
