Full-time vacancies have become available for a Health Care Support Worker on the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) unit in Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor.
Our aim is to provide high-quality care. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of nurses responsible for providing, maintaining, and coordinating a high standard of planned holistic care and nursing treatments, under the indirect supervision of the nurse in charge of the ward.
Main duties of the job
* To assist registered nurses/practitioners in delivering care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other healthcare professionals, the patients, their families, and carers.
* Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan. Carry out a wide range of duties under the supervision of a registered nurse during the shift.
* Support clients/service users in maintaining their health and wellbeing.
* Undertake specified and delegated clinical and therapeutic activities.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
