Senior Solutions Engineer - Strategic Accounts (Telco)

This role has a specific focus on Telecommunications where you’ll be the subject matter expert for our team both in terms of the technical aspects of our products and telco domain expertise.SEs must be comfortable building rapport with technical champions, augmenting the account team and serving as a trusted advisor within the accounts that they touch. Developing and owning technical proof activities to advance expansion opportunities, as well as drive product adoption. All Splunk SEs answer technical questions from customers regarding Splunk technology, features, solutions, applications as well as articulating Splunk technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Responsibilities:
1. Adept at designing solutions and scoping proof events using Splunk products and Services that align with a customer’s desired business outcomes and demonstrate quantifiable, measurable value
2. Ability to demonstrate Splunk products and services to customers on site, remotely via webinar sessions, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
3. You should have experience with discovering operational pains and determining value with customers.
4. Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle not only with our customer's technical staff, but also internally.
5. Provide technical expertise in the security arena and be the go-to person for the wider SE team
6. Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical software sales and knowledge of technology.
7. Work closely with the presales team and presales management to develop and continually improve working practices, standard methodologies, presales processes.
Requirements:
8. A knowledgeable understanding of the Telco space.
9. A proven track record with Splunk (or competitive) products
10. Proactive and self-sufficient personality, who is not afraid to own strategies and drive engagements with partners and customers. As well as bridging the gap between the partners and the account teams.
