We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator – Construction to join our team based in Bury Saint Edmunds. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
Your Key Duties
* Reviewing project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to develop comprehensive cost plans
* Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical information
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for upcoming projects
* Conducting risk assessments and value engineering to optimize project costs
* Assisting in bid submissions and negotiating contracts
* Monitoring project costs throughout construction to ensure adherence to budgets
