Job Role: Social Media Manager Location: Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium and Oval Park Training Ground Hours: 37.5 hours each week Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager Salary: £32,000 per annum Closing Date: Monday 8 December 2025, 4PM ROLE: The Social Media Manager at Leicester Tigers will be responsible for the implementation of the social media strategy at the club. Building awareness of the club and what’s on offer to supporters, helping to grow the following of Leicester Tigers platforms and the accounts of players, and driving engagement will be what you are most passionate about. You will oversee the club’s social media platforms, deliver consistent supporter engagement through them and lead the paid social media strategy. Helping to grow the Season Ticket Holder and Member numbers, sell match tickets, deliver Club Partner rights and strengthening the community footprint of the club will be key to what you do every day. You will be the advocate for social media use within all the club’s communications and marketing, while also acting as the key advisor on safe and responsible use of social media platforms for players, coaches and staff. In addition to weekly coverage of the club’s men’s, women’s, and academy programmes across the channel, the role will include promoting and coverage of matchday activations and offerings, club events, and community activity. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage all club social media platforms including strategic planning, scheduling and engagement with supporters Reporting on all social media activity and providing insights to drive strategic decisions, including improving audience growth and reach Work closely with the club’s Partnerships Team to deliver against contractual rights relating to communications on club and partner owned channels Incorporate social media into the delivery of industry-leading presentation for all Leicester Tigers home games and events Advise players and staff on social media use to improve their following and support the club’s activity, as well as their responsibilities as representatives of Leicester Tigers Produce, manage and coordinate organic social media content Support and provide insight on the club wide paid media marketing strategy REQUIREMENTS Experience in paid social media campaigns Significant experience in social media platform management and content creation Organised, strategic, and creative Ability to work evenings and weekends What you can expect in return: Starting at 24 days annual leave, increasing by one day each year up to a maximum of 28 days (not including bank holidays) 2x complimentary staff tickets to every home game AEGON pension scheme after 2 years of employment at the Club Club partner discounts Cycle to work scheme Staff discount in the Club Shop HOW TO APPLY: Please complete an application form from our website, and send this in completed to jointheteam@tigers.co.uk by Monday 8 December 2025, 4PM.
