MacGregor Black is partnering with a fast-growing UK lifestyle brand to appoint an Ecommerce Trading Manager. This is a permanent, hybrid role (3 days onsite), reporting into the Head of Marketing.
As Ecommerce Trading Manager, you will own day-to-day website performance across Shopify — driving revenue, margin, and conversion through smart merchandising, data-led decision making, and continuous optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Own daily, weekly, and seasonal trading performance across homepage, PLPs and PDPs.
Drive conversion, AOV, and revenue through effective merchandising, navigation, and promotional execution.
Lead weekly trading reviews, turning insight into clear commercial actions.
Act as business owner for Shopify, improving site structure, tagging, collections, and search functionality.
Partner with developers and agencies to enhance site performance and functionality.
Own the CRO roadmap using GA4 and qualitative insight to identify friction and opportunity.
Run structured A/B testing to improve conversion and customer experience.
Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, Product, and Customer Service to ensure strong campaign and launch execution.
Optimise category performance, margin mix, sell-through, and promotional cadence.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience owning ecommerce trading performance within a consumer or lifestyle brand.
Strong Shopify expertise with hands-on merchandising control.
Commercially astute — understands margin, sell-through, and trading cadence.
Data-led and confident turning insight into prioritised actions.
Comfortable influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced retail environment.
