Responsibilities:
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for leading the electrical engineering design of hydropower projects, including generators, control and instrumentation systems, protection, substations and transmission lines. You’ll be performing the design, model and analysis of electrical and electronic systems to ensure project success aligned to industry standards.
Required skills and experience:
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (IET)
Hands on experience of working on High Voltage (HV) electrical systems.
Hands-on experience with large rotating machines (generators or motors), hydro or pumped storage hydro systems
Experience of producing / interpreting design drawings and documents including single line diagrams, key line diagrams, block cable diagrams, load schedules, specifications and design of solutions.
Ability to present technical ideas
