Our client a UK-based engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their team based in Crumlin.
Responsibilities
* Travel to customer sites to install and commission conveyor systems (5/6 weeks per year max).
* Carry out mechanical and basic electrical commissioning.
* Fault-find and resolve issues during installation and start-up.
* Test systems to ensure safe and correct operation.
* Work from engineering drawings, schematics and commissioning documentation.
* Liaise professionally with customers, contractors and site teams.
* Provide feedback to internal design and production teams.
* Complete commissioning reports and handover documentation.
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience commissioning, installing or maintaining industrial machinery.
* Strong mechanical aptitude (conveyor experience highly beneficial).
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Confident fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
* Comfortable working independently on customer sites.
* High level of health and safety awareness.
* Willingness to travel when required (5/6 weeks per year max).
