Job Title: Social Care Worker
Salary: £23,188 to £27,324 per annum
Hours: 30 Hours per Week
Location: Parkside, Bromsgrove
Team: Bromsgrove Area Team
Contract: Permanent
We are looking for a Social Care Worker to work within the Bromsgrove Area Team. You will be working within a team of Social Workers and Social Care Workers.
The team covers the Bromsgrove area including Wythall, Barnt Green, Hagley and the villages. There is a real opportunity to work with people in their local communities. You will also be working in partnership with health colleagues, housing colleagues, local voluntary groups and other partners in Worcestershire County Council.
Your role will be to carry out reviews and complete assessments. You will also be part of a duty team looking at the work coming into the team. You will have supervision every month. You will also have the support of your line manager with your work. The team is really supportive and will always talk through any questions or queries that you might have.
We have monthly Team Meetings and Reflective Practice sessions. The reflective meetings are the opportunity to explore practice, areas of interest and learn from your peers.
There is an opportunity, following a qualifying period in the post, to apply for a Social Work Apprenticeship. This will enable you to get the Social Work Qualification to practice as a Social Worker.
