The Role: Contracts Manager

Salary: £55,000 to £60,000pa + Car Allowance
I am working with household name on a newly created Contracts Manager role. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the team and support the Head of Facilities across a large and varied estate.
The Contracts Manager role is a key management appointment for the group, and it comes at a very exciting time. There are some significant changes ahead that this role will play a critical role in the transformation of the Property and FM function and team.

The ideal candidate
You will be expected to take ownership of the supply chain to support the Head of Facilities Management in delivering their vision and strategy. As part of the wider Property function, you will be expected to develop and deliver a supply chain management framework (SRM) to improve governance and due diligence processes.
Professional, diligent and organised, your role will transform the perception and experience of colleagues and will contribute to improving workplace safety and compliance. Your attitude to delivering great service and overseeing strong supplier relationships will support the team’s governance-led approach to supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Head of FM in developing and delivering the FM strategy for all properties.
2. Manage the operational and capital budgets for the supply chain.
3. Act as the strategic lead for all strategic FM supplier relationships across the group, demystifying complex solutions and data to provide simple business cases for senior management review.
4. Own and deliver the implementation of a suitable supplier management (SRM) strategy for all FM suppliers.
5. Develop the contract tendering timeline, working closely with the Procurement to team to drive value with new contracts and continuously improving services.
6. Be a subject matter expert for FM, providing technical advice and guidance to senior stakeholders within the organisation.
7. Collaborate with your colleagues across the trading businesses to align priorities and deliver excellent service and FM support.
8. Introduce insightful supplier performance reporting for the FM team, primarily focussing on complex data sets provided by suppliers and from our own Finance and Accounts teams.
You must be able to live and work without restriction in the UK.
You will need a full driving license for this role.
