SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Wembley, Brent Start Date: September Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Educate Staffing is recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Wembley from September. This full-time, long-term role will involve supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs across EYFS or Key Stage 1, depending on experience and school requirements. The school is looking for a confident, reliable individual who can build positive relationships with pupils and contribute to all aspects of school life. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEN. Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement learning and support strategies. Assist with behaviour management and engagement within the classroom. Support pupils during enrichment activities, educational visits, and swimming sessions. Accompany pupils to changing facilities and provide appropriate supervision where required. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Requirements Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school or SEN setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, resilient, and proactive approach. Confidence supporting pupils across a range of school activities, including swimming provision and changing-room supervision where necessary.
