Interim ER Advisor - 12 week FTC Our specialist Employee Relations team are looking for a pragmatic, problem solving Advisor. This is a perfect role for someone who is looking to add real value in a fast paced and sociable environment. In a hospitality business like ours, no two people are the same, and likewise no two days are the same. Our ER team deals with all levels of ER cases across our c.350 restaurants in the UK and Ireland. You’ll be rolling up your sleeves and providing specialist advice to our General Managers and Territory Managers and providing general support to the ER team. Please note, this is an interim role for around 12 weeks. Key Responsibilities: Work in a small, collaborative and expert team managing high volume ER caseload including some complex cases. Advise and coach line managers, including senior leaders on ER issues with an ability to challenge and influence stakeholders where appropriate. Input and maintain ER case management information and reporting, ensuring all data is accurate Identify trends and opportunities to improve our policies, systems and processes in order to ensure that we make improvements and continuously develop. Work collaboratively with our wider People team on relative projects Keep up to date with employment law, trends and HR best practice What you’ll need: CIPD qualified or some equivalent experience. Sound up to date knowledge of UK employment law, Employment Tribunal processes. Experience of managing ER issues and advising, coaching, influencing managers up to and including senior managers Ability to assess potential problems and make sound judgements on issues that may have an adverse impact on the business. HR best practice awareness. Able to plan and prioritise workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
