Overview
Project Planner role at Rubicon Consulting. Initial 12 month contract based in Rugby.
Responsibilities
* Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed, integrated schedules that account for both internal project plans and supplier timelines, with a focus on marine project requirements and security considerations.
* Implement best practices in project planning, including scenario analysis, to manage risks, especially those that may impact the delivery of the project.
* Provide ongoing updates to project schedules to reflect progress and potential project delays.
* Risk Management: Identify project risks, and work with internal teams and suppliers to develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
* Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Act as the key liaison between project teams, engineering, sourcing and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication of project schedules.
* Regularly present project updates to stakeholders, including project performance metrics and supplier progress.
* Work collaboratively with all parties to ensure projects are executed in line with expectations and secure protocols.
Requirements
* Higher levels of UK Security Clearance, including “SC Clearance” is required for this role. The candidate must have existing SC clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance. British citizenship with a valid British passport and no dual nationality is an advantage, but not a requirement.
* Significant experience in project planning and scheduling and risk management in high-security and/or marine industries, for complex projects with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
* In NPI programs, including industrialisation.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6.
